- Abstract
The practices' analysis of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) demands identifying of the agents with greater responsibility in the organizations' performance. The shareholders or owners share great responsibility over the organization's ethical approach; however managers are who determine the operational course or road of the company. It is their task to put in order the actions leading to a sustainable development, environmental and social commitment. That turns them into the main agents responsible for both the operational and strategic performances in order to develop the company's corporate purpose and the impact it generates. For such a reason, this article intends to identify theoretical aspects of Corporate Social Responsibility and its relation with the management's role in applying strategies to the CSR. Likewise, the main goal of the research that supports this article is to start documenting and assessing the true scope of the social responsibility in the minds and actions of the managers to be able to determine how committed they are to such an administrative and corporate tendency within the CSR framework.
