- Abstract
The article reports on the registration of Pembina soybean, developed by the North Dakota State University. It has resistance to lodging and race 3 and 4 of Phytophthora root and has high yield for its early maturity. It seems to contain a major allele that offers resistance to Phytophthora sojae. It serves as a replacement for cultivar Jim on field. It also has an intermediate growth habit with purple flower, gray pubescence, brown pod color, shiny seed coat and yellow hila. The soybean is generally adapted as a full-season cultivar.
