- Abstract
In the State of Rio Grande do Sul there is an incessant search to develop technologies with the purpose of innovating in the field of agricultural, livestock and forestry production. Among these technologies is the integration system between crop, livestock, and forest, also known as agrosilvopastoral system (SASP). The objective of this Case Study was to elaborate a Sustainable Development Action Plan, through a SASP, for a small rural property in the municipality of Três Passos. The present work initially consisted of a bibliographical research on the integrated production systems. Then, a rural property was selected, where a diagnosis of its current situation was carried out. Subsequently, after conducting an interview with the owners of the area, a proposal for the implementation of a SASP was presented. It was observed that many of the problems found in the researched property could be solved through appropriate techniques of soil management and conservation and cultural treatments or cultures adapted to the situation. Through the SASP, it was sought to propose alternatives for the management of activities through conservation technologies, which bring countless benefits to the producer. The Case Study addressed the main gains and changes that the property would have with the implementation of the SASP, considering the economic and sustainable perspectives of agricultural production. It was concluded that this integration system can be a viable and prosperous option for the development of the property of the couple of farmers, provided it is used correctly, working on conservation practices, thus being able to change for the better the current social, environmental and economic scenario.
