- Abstract
One of the important tools for change management, which has become a necessity for modern organizations, is in-service training that enables the training of human resources with up-to-date knowledge and skills. The aim of the study is to develop a valid and reliable scale for the evaluation of in-service training. Study data are obtained from hospital personnel working in a private hospital and who participated in in-service training. In order to ensure the content validity of the draft scale consisting of 30 items, 5 experts are consulted and changes are made according to expert opinions and 1 statement is removed from the scale. Exploratory factor analysis using the Oblimin rotation method for the scale consisting of 29 items shows that the scale has 18 items and 5 factors explaining 63.17% of the total variance. The results obtained after confirmatory factor analysis and corrections show the suitability of the model with 14 expressions and 5 factors. (GFI 0.904; CFI 0.926; RMSEA 0.069; RMR0.050; χ2/df 2.466; TLI 0.908). The internal consistency coefficient of the scale is 0.897. In the study, a reliable and valid measurement tool is developed that can be used in the comprehensive evaluation of in-service training.
