- Authors
Charters, Lynda; Scoper, Stephen V.
- Abstract
The article discusses information on the efficacy of olopatadine for improving symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis. Majority of patients prescribed with olopatadine hydrochloride ophthalmic solution 0.2% report high compliance to the treatment due to its once-a-day dosing requirement. A quality of life study confirms that patients who wear contact lenses have a positive perception to the newer olopatadine treatment because of its action as a good mast cell stabilizer.
