- Abstract
Vegetable dyes HM has been used to dye the wool and cashmere fibers. The concentration of dyeing solution, pH value of dyeing, heating rate and dyeing time have been discussed on the dyeing uptakes of the two fibers. The results show that the dyeing conditions vegetable dye HM for cashmere fiber are that using the heating rate of 1 °C I min and dyeing for 60 min in the dyeing solution of the concentration of 100% ( owf) and pH value of 4. For wool fiber, it is that using the heating rate of 1 °C / min and dyeing for 90 min in the dyeing solution of the concentration of 50% ( owf) and pH value of 5. It is easily to dye wool fiber for vegetable dye HM and the dyeing uptake of wool fiber is higher than cashmere fiber's.
