- Abstract
Using cashmere yarn of 20. 83 tex and 14.70 tex as testing material, it defined five different ratio of twist coefficient in the test. Yarn of 20. 83 tex and 14. 70 tex were twisted yarn of 20. 83 tex x 2 and 14. 70 tex x 3, which were knited the plain fabrics on the knitting machine. It analyzes the effect of the twist on the spirality degree. The research results showed that there was a linear relationship between the spirality degree and ratio of twist coefficient. Spirality degree will reduce with increasing of ratio of twist coefficient. The spirality degree of knitwear of 20. 83 tex x 2 was zero degree, while ratio of twist coefficient was 0. 787. The spirality degree of knitwear of 14. 70 tex x 3 is zero degree, while ratio of twist' coefficient was 0. 734.
