An essay is presented on the queer textual evidence in English dramatist and poet Christopher Marlowe's play "Edward the Second." The play is about the 14th-century English monarchs whose love for Piers Gaveston proves to be his undoing. Particular analysis is offered for the New York City production by Red Bull Theater, from an adaptation by Garland Wright.
