- Abstract
206 soil samples from sugarcane field in 22 representative study areas were comprehensively valued by principal component analysis, according to the principle of soil nutrient grades. The results showed that the soil pH of the survey region was at a lower level. More than half of the soil samples were low on organic matter, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium, available nitrogen and available potassium, while some regions were lack of copper and zinc, but iron and manganese increased. Principal component analysis indicated that in the first component, pH, organic matter, total nitrogen, alkaline hydrolytic nitrogen, total phosphorus, available phosphorus, total potassium, available manganese, available zinc, and available copper and available iron played a major role. In the second component, available potassium, available iron, available copper, available zinc and available manganese played a leading role. In the third main component, available phosphorus, total phosphorus and available manganese played a major role. In the fourth main component, organic matter, total phosphorus, available phosphorus, available potassium and available iron played a major role. In the fifth main component, organic matter, total potassium, available potassium, available manganese played a major role. Soil fertility of the 22 survey region in this paper was divided into five grades, with the majority of the third grade and fourth grade which were at a low lever. So the soil fertility in the 22 survey region was poor.
