- Abstract
The article informs that Economic nationalism is at the forefront of global political economy have returned to protectionist trade policies and promoted economic discrimination. Topics include pronounced swing of vote shares to right-wing and protectionist factions in regions of the U.S. exposed to imports from China; and considers the opposing interests of different elites within and outside the state and therefore helps to analyze economic nationalism in the twentieth century.
