- Abstract
The article offers information on the need to screen for permeation to distinguish a priori organism-particular chemical space. Researchers carried a survey to evaluate the metabolism and accumulation of 1,000 various small molecules that were treated to Caenorhabditis elegans. The survey shows that fewer than 10% of the screened molecules were discovered to collect in concentrations greater than 50% of the concentration in the external environment of the worm.
