- Abstract
The article discusses the reported role that enticement plays in the violation of a protection order (PO) in America as of 2014, focusing on the requirements for obtaining a PO in the U.S., as well as information about mediation and reconciliations involving the parties to a PO. American remedies, PO violation-related legal cases, and the concept of inducement are assessed. According to the article, civil POs are the leading tool in preventing the maltreatment of women in abusive relationships.
