- Abstract
The article focuses on the constitutional challenge brought by private clinic owner doctor Brian Day to the British Columbia's to court which will test whether the ban on private health insurance and additional fees for Medicare-covered procedures violate charter rights to life, liberty, and security of a person. The plaintiffs claim that the case, if won, will lead to more affordable private health care and will allow better service under both public and private system.
