- Abstract
Online education, or e-learning, has become a crucial tool in today's educational landscape, offering flexibility and accessibility to students in different academic programs. This study focuses on investigating the perspectives of students at the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas-Mexico in three educational programs taught completely online, collecting numerical data using a quantitative methodological approach to understand the experiences and perceptions of students in virtual training environments. A structured questionnaire was administered to a sample of 158 students to capture an overview of the participants' tendencies and opinions. The results revealed that students positively value the flexibility and availability of materials in online education, although they also identified challenges such as communication and comprehension difficulties. Recommendations are highlighted to strengthen communication, diversify educational tools and support adaptation to the virtual modality. In conclusion, this study provides a detailed view of students' experiences in online education and offers practical recommendations to improve its effectiveness and quality.
