- Abstract
Issue 102 of Economic Analysis presents ten articles by researchers from various universities and banks in Mexico and Peru. The topics addressed include the phenomenon of corruption, the impact of the subprime and COVID-19 crises on employment in Latin America and the Caribbean, the systemic risk-taking channel of monetary policy, the productive structure of Puerto Rico after the elimination of Section 936, the determinants of economic growth in Mexico, tourism policy in the Magical Towns of Veracruz, Mexican monetary policy, fiscal progressivity in Mexico, and the analysis of the neoclassical model in the labor market. An article on the compulsory licensing of invention patents in Mexico is also included.
