The article focuses on the decisions of the U.S. Supreme Court on claims related to property rights in the case Stop the Beach Renourishment, Inc. v. Florida Department of Environmental Protection. It discusses the opinion of four judges in stop the beach case for advancing the theory of property rights. It examines the case Pennsylvania Coal Co. v. Mahon for the purpose of regulation of property and the right to mining of property.
