- Abstract
The article focuses on a study on the methods of enrichment admissible in junior high school general science teaching. Enrichment method is a mental procedure by which the quality of the student's school life is improved. The method involves something more than educational devices and techniques. An enrichment method was devised considering students of variant IQ levels. For the study, the syllabus of general science in the schools of New York City was taken into consideration. In the previous studies, enrichment methods suggested were based on students with high IQ levels. In the experimental procedure to determine the methods, the achievement of the students of ninth grade general science was measured with reference to their scientific attitude, their comprehension of the social aspects of science and their understanding of scientific experiments, problems and achievements.
