- Abstract
The article presents the results of a single-center prospective observational study assessing the effectiveness of the Mallampati test in sitting and supine positions to predict a potential difficult tracheal intubation in diabetic patients undergoing general anesthesia and orotracheal intubation. Based on the results, the Mallampati test is more effective in predicting difficult intubation when conducted in the supine position.
