The article provides information and approach on using three-dimensional (3-D) printing given by teachers for creating standard lightning fixtures for theatre students. Topics discussed include visualizing the angles and color key, distributing the color key, and stage patching and cabling. Other topics include the results of this approach on students and the approximate set up costs for each 3-D setup.
