- Abstract
The article discusses psychology experiments in relation to the notion of a just noticeable difference (JND) between quantities as explained by the mathematical function Fechner's Law. The role of the body in experimentation in relation to the mind is addressed in light of lived experience. A group discussion using Memory Work to analyze previous experiences is described. The role of psychologist Wilhem Wundt in founding experimental psychology is noted, as are opinions by psychologists William James and John Dewey.
