- Abstract
The article presents mobile applications (apps) for teens on the autism spectrum. The author relates her experience running a year-long Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant that help library patrons with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). She recommends the book "Apps for Austim: A Must-Have Resource for the Speecial Needs Community," by Lois Jean Brady. Several literacy and learning mobile apps are previewed including Web Reader - Text to Speech by Chris Chauvin, Flashcards Deluxe Lite by OrangOrApple.com, and Tetris by Electronic Arts.
