- Abstract
The article discusses the Young Engineers program that was implemented by the Madison Public Library in Ohio until the summer of 2014 to help students gain proficiency and competency with informational texts. The project was funded by a grant from the Ohio Department of Education. The program was implemented by the library's staff, namely, Shawn Walsh, Nancy Currie, and Melanie Lyttle. Also cited is the Every Child Ready to Read program.
