- Abstract
The article focuses on a study about the genomic RNA of Araujia mosaic virus (ArjMV) and its relation with the coat protein sequence of other potyviruses. The study focused on the biological control of moth plants in New Zealand through ArjMV. Genetic examinations including its genomic RNA and nucleotide sequences were employed. The study found ArjMV as a unique potyvirus, thus suggesting its capability to be more species-specific or as a potential biological control agent for moth plants.
