- Authors
TATE, JOE; FORAKER, WAYNE
- Abstract
The article discusses various steps through which a team of quality control analysts for the University of Phoenix's office of student records met the strategic resource allocation issue by adopting failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and guidance on risk assessment. The steps include working with front-line managers for identifying business objectives and risk events, applying FMEA-derived assessment for each documented risk event, and calculating priority scores to rank risk events.
