- Abstract
The article offers information on the 350th anniversary of Jamestown, Virginia and the interest of historians in the early Polish settlers in Jamestown. As stated, Arthur Waldo who documented the presence of Polish people in America wrote "The First Poles in America, 1608-1958," in commemoration of the event. Reverend Waclaw Kruszka reportedly wrote about Poles at Jamestown in "Historya Polska w Ameryce/Polish History in America" and Mieczyslaw Haiman in "Z preszlosci polskiej w Ameryce/From the Polish Past in America."
