- Title
NATURE STUDY AND CITY CHILDREN.
- Authors
Howard, Arthur
- Abstract
The article discusses programs designed to develop enthusiasm for nature study among city children. The author's main objective is to let young people be aware of the true beauty and mystery of Nature. He stressed that these experiences with Nature could create a useful, happy and law abiding citizen, rather than a high school dropout. He further explained that there are Nature opportunities inside every large city and that to find them, the city youngster should be alerted and be sensitive to them. His emphasis on the greater joy of discovery and adventure with nature concludes the article.
