- Abstract
In order to improve performance and service life of the hinged seal of shield machine, and research on the seal mechanism and failure forms of the hinged seal, a two-dimensional axisymmetric seal model was established by ANSYS Workbench software. The sensitivities and effect directions of each factor on sealing performance were analyzed based on response surface methodology, and the amount of grease was quantified. The results show that the sensitivities of influencing factors are material elastic modulus, lubricating oil pressure, tilt angle and sealing oil pressure in descending order; the pressure-bearing capacity of the seal can be improved by generating a reasonable back pressure; the maximum equivalent stress and maximum contact pressure are increased linearly with the increase of material elastic modulus; the compression of the lateral seal decreases and the maximum equivalent stress and maximum contact pressure decrease with the increases of the tilt angle; the interaction effects of material elastic modulus, tilt angle and grease pressure on the maximum contact pressure of the outer seal are significant. In order to obtain the optimal combination scheme of oil pressure, the multi-objective parameters optimization are carried out for sealing, which provides reference for the practical engineering construction.
