The article reports on marketing professionals that greatly influenced the field of marketing during the years 1900 through 1923. The author includes information about marketing professionals including George M. Fisk, Simon Litman, Edward D. Jones, and James E. Hagerty. General information about the education and development of marketing innovators is provided as a background for specific information presented regarding the four aforementioned individuals. Factors such as youthful experiences and academic stimulus are thought to have had a significant impact on the marketing innovators.
