- Abstract
As prefabricated construction is increasingly popular, the design of prefabricated elements and joints becomes more and more important. Reveals the optimization in dimensions and connections of a library in Qingyuan, Guangdong through the prefabricated production, transportation, installation and structure behavior. The prefabricated elements and joint connection are not only satisfying the requirement of design, but also simplifying the size of the prefabricated production, optimizing the connection, improving construction efficiency and reducing cost of construction by considering the size of prefabricated production, the limit of transportation, hoisting weight and reinforced collision. It shows prefabricated building design can be lowered in cost and improved in efficiency, with assembly rate of 62%, by Standard for Assessment of prefabricated Building.
