- Abstract
The article reports on the task considered by Joint FAO (Food & Agriculture Organization of the United Nations)/WHO (World Health Organization) Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA) for its 2012 Conference on Food Additives. It is noted that the committee prepared specifications for food additives and flavoring agents, undertook safety evaluations of flavoring agents and food additives, and elaborated principles for evaluation of food safety of flavoring agents and food additives.
