- Abstract
An interview with the Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development (AMCD) president from 1989-1990, Courtland C. Lee, is presented. When asked to recall events in life which pushed him towards multiculturalism, he cites growing up during the civil rights movement of the 1960s as having an effect on the way he sees the world. He discusses how he got into the counseling field. Lee also describes his leadership strengths, saying that he sees himself as a visionary.
