- Abstract
Objective To analyze the clinical value of 24-hour ambulatory electrocardiography(AECG) combined with treadmill exercise test(TET) in diagnosing latent coronary heart disease(LCHD). MethodsWe selected 100 patients definitely diagnosed with LCHD by coronary angiography(CAG) in our hospital from January 2015 to February 2018. The clinical diagnosis results of 24-hour AECG, TET and CAG were analyzed, respectively. ResultsBetween 24-hour AECG and TET, the sensitivity(82.81% vs. 82.54%), specificity(61.11% vs. 67.56%), accuracy(75.00% vs. 77.00%), and negative and positive predictive values(66.67% vs. 69.44%, 79.10% vs. 81.25%) did not vary significantly(P>0.05). The specificity(91.89%) and positive predictive value(94.23%) of the tandem method(AECG combined with TET) were higher than either of the two methods(P<0.05) while the sensitivity(95.23%) and negative predictive value(88.00%) of the parallel method were also significantly higher(P<0.05). ConclusionThe tandem and parallel methods of AECG combined with TET are obviously more valuable than single examination in the diagnosis of LCHD. They can effectively improve the diagnostic accuracy.
