- Abstract
The article presents cases of allergic contact dermatitis, which is caused due to 47 dichloroquinoline. Four workers had dermatitis of the face and cases one to four and six were employed in jobs involving charging 4,7-dichloroquinoline to a hot reaction vessel. This operation was performed manually by shoveling from a fiberboard drum. Dermatitis was not seen amount other workers handling this substance. 4,7-dichioroquinoline is encountered as an organic intermediate in the manufacture of chloroquine and other quinoline derivatives.
