- Title
DIFFICULTIES IN TEACHING LEGAL ENGLISH TO A ROMANIAN PUBLIC.
- Authors
DOBROTĂ, Corina
- Abstract
The paper expounds the key features of legal English which may prove difficult for non-professionals and particularly for the Romanian public, especially since Romania's and U.K.'s legal systems are completely different. These may be found at the level of vocabulary and grammar, both having the potential to cause translation and interpretation errors. Thus, the paper also proposes solutions for remedial work, as well as possible vistas for further research into the field.
