- Abstract
The article presents the text of an address delivered by Paul L. Anderson, president of the Mormon History Association, in Sacramento, California, on May 24, 2008. Anderson discussed the transformation of Mormon architecture through the examination of churches of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the state. He explored how the Mormons tried to separate themselves from the Catholic, Protestant and Greek or Russian Orthodox traditions.
