The article presents the case of an 84-year-old woman with invasive ductal primary breast cancer in the U.S. The woman, who did not receive medical care for more than 10 years, exhibited a protuberant, foul-smelling, fungating and indurated mass on her left breast. The biopsy revealed a poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma with focal mucinous differentiation.
