- Abstract
A case study of a 82-year-old male who had a large tumor mass on his head is presented. The article discusses subcutaneous ossifying fibromyxoid tumor of the scalp and its characterization by computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT). It notes that the patient was sent for the resection of the tumor and no recurrence or metastasis was observed after 14 months of the resection.
