- Abstract
This short note is presenting an unpublished inscription : it is a fragment of a Tunisian tombstone, datable from the 5th/11th c. which was found under the water in the port of Calvi, in Corsica, in 1969. Its epitaph, epigraphic style and decoration are put back in the context of tunisian, especially Kairouan, production. This fragment is to be added to other muslim tombstones that were discovered in the South of France, testifying to the exchanges between these two Mediterranean areas and to the curious re-use of these funerary stones.
