The article focuses on the responses of local rationalists to the higher concentration of healers, channellers and psychics in south Devon, England, which has established a reputation as the capital of pseudoscience in Great Britain. It mentions the cancellation of the conference featuring a disqualified Italian physicians,which has strengthened local rationalists in supporting evidence and reason. The author states that rationalists should work with the spirit of Totnes if they are to succeed.
