- Abstract
The article discusses how crisis at Japan's Fukushima plant raised spectre of nuclear disaster including how it has made atomic power safer than ever. It ridicules Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's announcement that his country's reactors were perfectly safe informing that no technology on scale of a nuclear reactor is hundred per cent safe. It discusses claim that technology cannot harm people by citing several instances which reveals that technological accidents are always imminent.
