- Abstract
The article discusses the status of savings and loan companies in the U.S. in the wake of the passage of the U.S. Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform & Consumer Protection Act in 2010 (Dodd-Frank Act). The impact of the Dodd-Frank Act on the U.S. Home Owners' Loan Act (HOLA) and the U.S. Bank Holding Company Act of 1956 is also examined.
