- Abstract
This article explores the use of hybrid treatments for cerebrovascular diseases, which combine microsurgical operations, endovascular procedures, and radiation therapy. It discusses the construction of hybrid operation rooms as a technical advancement that allows for these combined treatments. The article provides examples of successful cases where a multimodality approach utilizing both endovascular and microsurgical techniques has been effective. It also mentions potential benefits of hybrid cerebrovascular surgery, such as treating steno-occlusive disease and vascular malformations.
