"Saqīl" (unbearable person), one of the most interesting and real characters of Arabic social life, is also one of the most vivid figures of classical Arabic humour. In this article, first, we will touch on the methods in which the 'Saqīl' was satirized, and then we will quote some anek-dotes concerning A'mash, a vehement and bitter critic about the 'Saqīl' figure.
