- Abstract
The article discusses the increasing prevalence of genitourinary schistosomiasis in Europe caused by Schistosoma haematobium (SH) (S. haematobium) during the migration period. Topics include the presentation of trematode infection at the emergency department and the increase of referral to radiology and urology, the growth of international migrants worldwide, and the prevalent cases of SH related to migration and the risk of the rising incidence.
