- Abstract
The paper presents an original tool for AutoCAD software system. The new tool is developed in Visual LISP environment using AutoLISP programming language and allows to the user to obtain aligned sectional views of three dimensional solids in AutoCAD layouts. The aligned section are created using a cutting plane, materialised in a cutting polyline, drawn in the base view, which changes the direction to pass through internal solid features. Using this tool, the sectional views are obtained according to drafting standards.
