- Abstract
The article discusses the role of the Orthodox Jewish institution Yeshiva College in the development of Jewish American architecture. Topics include the merger of the schools Etz Chaim and Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS) to form Yeshiva College, the leadership of of Rabbi Dr. Bernard Revel as president of the Rabbinical College of America (an earlier name of Yeshiva), and the work of architect Joshua Tabatchnik in designing Yeshiva's campus. It is said that the building Zysman Hall mixes the Moorish Revival and art deco styles.
