- Authors

- Abstract
The article presents an overview of the Jewish contributions and involvement with Polish philosophy of the Modern Era. The paradigms of Jewish "philosophy in Poland" and Jewish "Polish philosophy" are differentiated, focusing on the latter. The participation of Jews in Polish philosophical schools of thought is then mapped from the mid-19th century after the Haskala movement until 1939. Figures profiled include Ludwik Gumplowicz, Stanisław Kramsztyk, and Alfred Tarski. The Lvov-Warsaw School of philosophers is particularly addressed.
