- Abstract
The article discusses the constitutionality of the Congress' enactment of the Section 747 of Consolidated Appropriations Act in the U.S. It outlines the jurisprudence of bankruptcy courts as well as their inherent authority to decide the cases of Chrysler Group LLC and General Motors Corp. It also explains the court's decision over the bankruptcy filing of the two companies as well as the Congress' reaction about the issue.
