The article discusses the U.S. Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act in relation to tax credits for insurance that was purchased through federal health insurance exchanges as of May 2013. Other topics include employment-based health insurance, tax exceptionalism in America, and the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in the case Chevron v. Natural Resources Defense Council. American legislative history and the U.S. Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 are examined.
