Title
WOUND CARE UPDATE.
Abstract
The article reports that Dr. Steven Proper of the Center for Dermatology and Skin Surgery in Tampa, Florida has found a solution to the problem of getting dressings to adhere to high sebum producing areas, such as the sides of the nose and scalp, in a Mohs practice. The article advises spraying the adhesive part of the dressings with ethyl chloride to increase the tape's adhesiveness and allow the pressure dressing to adhere more securely.
